RSE
RSE stands for Relationships Sex Education.
From 2021, all schools with a primary phase need to provide:
- Relationship education
- Health education
Sex education continues to be non-compulsory. Schools in the primary phase aren't required to provide sex education, but the DfE recommends you have a programme in place if you don't have one already.
At Henham and Ugley, we have decided to teach sex education at an age appropriate level. We use the Kapow resources to deliver RSE.
